1902 10/- Ultramarine De La Rue Corner Block of Four SG 265 Ex Lady Mairi Bury. Corner marginal block of four of the 10/- De La Rue Ultramarine, with fine colour and excellent gum - top two lightly mounted with slight hinge remains, bottom two unmounted. Some very slight soiling to surface of one.

I have always specialised in the line-engraved stamps of Great Britain - the various states and cancellations both being specialities. In the last ten years I have become a specialist in pictorial Victorian envelopes and in particular the Mulready Caricatures of the early 1840s.

It is being published by the Royal Philatelic Society and will be promoted at London2022. Any information readers have on these stunning and rare items, in particular used examples, is gratefully received, and any included in the book will of course get full acknowledgement.

In recent years I have expanded into other areas of philately and postal history, and a wide variety of collecting interests will be covered on my website.
